Break and Steal an Egg Beginner Guide
Train enough Speed for a reachable zone, equip your Pickaxe, break an egg and take the hatched animal. Escape the guards, place the animal at your base for Cash and upgrade the part slowing your run. This route is for ILGames x Eggs on Roblox, Place ID 114326934417838.

Your First Break and Steal an Egg Run
Break and Steal an Egg turns an egg into a base-earning animal through a complete run. The first session is easiest to understand when you follow that whole sequence once, instead of treating training, tools and collection as unrelated tasks.
This route is for the ILGames x Eggs experience on Roblox, Place ID 114326934417838. Check that destination before using a guide for a similarly named game. You do not need a redeem code to learn the loop, and this walkthrough does not assume an unannounced free reward.
- 1
Find your base and current Speed
Begin by locating your base and reading your current Speed. The run will end back at the base, so know your return destination before setting out. Speed is the number to compare with zone access, not your Cash balance or Pickaxe Power.
- 2
Train for the first reachable zone
Use Speed training to reach your first area. The current Forest reference gate is 5 Speed. Check the value shown in the game before planning a visit, and do not assume a stronger tool replaces this requirement.
- 3
Equip the Wooden Pickaxe and break a Forest egg
The Wooden Pickaxe is the starter tool at 1 Power. Forest lists Rock Egg and Forest Egg in the Common tier. Equip your tool and use it to break an egg. Notice whether this part of the run is what takes the longest.
- 4
Take the animal after it hatches
Eggs hatch animals. Take the animal to continue the earning loop; breaking the egg alone is not the final goal. Bigger satchels allow more animals per run, but learn the basic take-and-return route before planning around carrying more.
- 5
Escape the guards and return to your base
Bring the animal back while escaping the guards. Pay attention to the movement part of the run so you can tell whether Speed is the next thing to improve. This guide does not assume a particular guard statistic or a fixed escape time.
- 6
Place the animal to start earning Cash
Place the animal at your base to earn Cash, as described in the official game loop. This connects the egg-breaking and return stages to progression. No fixed earnings amount is needed to understand why finishing the run matters.
- 7
Use the next purchase to fix the actual bottleneck
Review what slowed the run. Look at Pickaxe Power for breaking, Speed and equipped Trails for movement, or satchel capacity for taking more animals. Choose the relevant system before comparing its next purchase, then judge the result on another complete run.
What Each Upgrade Solves
The main systems address different parts of progression. Use the table as a quick way to decide which guide to open after a run. Some systems have cost tables in this wiki; satchels and the Index are described only at the high level confirmed by the official game description.
A purchase should solve an observed problem. If an egg is slow to break, a carrying upgrade will not directly speed that stage up. If you want to take more animals per trip, a stronger Pickaxe does not by itself increase satchel capacity. Keeping the roles clear makes the first upgrade decision much easier.
| System | What it helps with |
|---|---|
| Speed | Movement and meeting zone Speed gates |
| Trail | Speed multiplier; must be equipped |
| Pickaxe | Power for breaking eggs faster |
| Satchel | Bigger satchels allow more animals per run |
| Base / animal placement | Place returned animals at your base to earn Cash |
| Index | Follow animal collection |
Speed vs. Pickaxe Power
Speed and Power are separate checks. Speed determines whether your progression meets a zone's listed access gate and belongs to the movement side of a run. Pickaxe Power is the tool stat for egg breaking once you can reach an egg.
A Trail helps Speed progression, but only when equipped. If you buy one, check the equipped setup before expecting its multiplier. The Pickaxe guide instead compares tools by cost and Power; it does not promise a precise number of hits for each egg.
When deciding what to buy first, describe the problem in one sentence: “I cannot reach the zone,” “the egg takes too long,” or “I want to carry more animals.” Then match that sentence to the appropriate system. There is no universal budget split in this guide, because your current stat values and the part limiting your run can differ.
Your First Zones
Forest is the opening reference at 5 Speed, with Rock Egg and Forest Egg in the Common tier. Desert follows at 1,000 Speed with Cactus Egg and Bones Egg at Uncommon. Snowy is the next early destination at 50,000 Speed, listing Frozen Egg and Yeti Egg at Rare.
Treat those gates as access targets, then evaluate the whole run in each area. Reaching a new rarity tier is different from being comfortable with breaking and bringing an animal back. You can improve the part that slows you down before planning a longer progression jump.
The full zone table continues through Candy, Swamp, Ocean, Hell, Blossom and Galaxy. You do not need that entire late-game route memorized for the first session. Use the current next gate and its egg pool as a focused goal, then return to the larger reference when you are ready.
Common Beginner Mistakes
Following the wrong egg game
Steal An Egg is a different Roblox experience. Match the developer ILGames x Eggs and Place ID 114326934417838 when checking guides or code claims. A similar name does not make another game’s rewards, menus or progression values applicable here.
Spending on the wrong bottleneck
Choose the stat that addresses the part slowing the run. Power is relevant to egg breaking; Speed matters for access and movement. Review a complete attempt before choosing a purchase from the tool or Trail table simply because its number is larger.
Buying a Trail without equipping it
The listed multiplier requires the Trail to be equipped. Check this step before buying another upgrade to solve a Speed issue. Ownership and the active equipped setup are different things, and the latter is what matters for the multiplier.
Chasing rarity before finishing a return
Higher rarity pools are progression targets, but an egg is only the beginning of the earning route. Practice taking the animal and placing it at your base. This advice does not assume a particular failure penalty; it follows the official loop from egg to Cash.
What to Read Next
Choose the next guide by the question you have now. Codes covers the current confirmed code status and the separate community reward offer. Zones gives the next Speed gate, while Eggs identifies the pool once you know your destination. Pickaxes and Trails help you compare purchases for different stats.
For the next announced update, New Biome contains the October 11 event schedule and the details known as of October 8. No future zone requirement is needed for this beginner route. The main wiki brings these pages together when you want to switch from a focused question to the overall progression picture.
Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you play Break and Steal an Egg?
Reach a zone, break an egg, take the animal, escape guards and place the animal at your base for Cash. Use upgrades to improve the part that slows the run.
What should I upgrade first?
Fix the bottleneck you observe. Check Power if breaking is slow, Speed or equipped Trails for movement, and satchels if you want more carrying capacity.
What is Speed used for?
Speed belongs to movement and progression through zone access gates. Forest starts the current reference at 5 Speed.
What does Pickaxe Power do?
It helps break eggs faster. It does not replace the Speed required to enter a zone.
How do Trails work?
Trails provide Speed multipliers. A purchased Trail must be equipped before its multiplier applies.
What is the first zone?
Forest is the first listed zone at 5 Speed, containing Rock Egg and Forest Egg at Common rarity.
Are there any codes for beginners?
There are no confirmed working redeem codes as of October 8, 2026. The official like-and-group reward offer is separate from codes.
