How Trails Work

The current Trail list has 11 entries, from White at 2x to Moonlight at 10Kx. Use the cost and multiplier columns together when comparing the next purchase. These values are the October 8, 2026 reference; no higher tier or hidden training formula is added.

A multiplier describes the Trail's listed Speed benefit when equipped. It is not the same as your actual Speed, and it is not a zone gate. For example, Galaxy's gate is 25,000,000,000 Speed, while the Trail table contains multipliers and Cash costs. Matching a number across those columns would mix different measurements.

Trails provide the Speed multiplier system, and the equip step matters. If you have purchased a Trail but have not equipped it, its listed multiplier is not applied. Check your equipped setup before concluding that the purchase has failed to help your progression.

Speed is the part of your setup associated with movement and zone access. Pickaxe Power belongs to egg breaking. A Trail is therefore a different kind of upgrade from a tool, even when both are bought with Cash. Decide which stat needs attention before comparing the largest available values.

For training, use the instructions and Speed display in the game. This guide does not calculate treadmill gains, training time or final Speed from a hidden formula. Players may start from different values, so the same Trail does not mean the same zone access for everyone. Check actual progress after equipping rather than relying on a name or an assumed conversion.

Trail Progression from White to Moonlight

Early Trails

White begins at $500 with a 2x multiplier. Blue follows at $7.5K and 4x, Green at $100K and 8x, and Purple at $1.2M and 16x. The early sequence gives you clear comparison points as you learn Speed progression.

Before saving for the next entry, confirm that your current Trail is equipped. Then consider whether Speed is the part slowing your run or whether breaking needs more Power. Buying a new Trail while leaving the previous one unequipped can obscure the difference between the two purchases.

Mid-Game Trails

Red costs $17.5M for 40x, Golden costs $250M for 100x, and Rainbow costs $3.5B for 250x. The costs grow alongside the multipliers, so read both columns before planning a purchase. A bigger multiplier is useful to compare, but the table does not supply a guaranteed training duration.

These are Trail names, not egg rarity labels. Rainbow also appears in egg and Pickaxe names, without establishing a special combination or requirement. Use the Speed role of the Trail to decide whether it fits the difficulty you are trying to solve.

Late Trails

Galactic is listed at $45B and 600x. Secret follows at $600B and 1.5Kx, Laser at $8T and 4Kx, and Moonlight at $100T and 10Kx. Moonlight is the highest multiplier in the current list, equivalent to the listed 10,000x label.

The late Trail sequence does not provide a guaranteed unlock route for Galaxy or the future New Biome. Your actual Speed remains the number to compare with any announced gate. An expensive Trail can be a progression purchase without being proof that a particular destination is immediately reachable.

Trails vs. Pickaxes

Compare systems by the task they affect. A Trail helps with Speed progression; a Pickaxe helps with Power for egg breaking. Both belong to the larger earning loop, but buying one does not give you the other stat's function.

If you arrive at an egg comfortably and breaking is slow, the Pickaxe list is the more relevant next reference. If you break it but movement makes reaching the area or returning difficult, review Speed and your equipped Trail. If you want to carry more animals, the official description points to bigger satchels instead.

There is no single purchase order that follows from these tables for every player. Identify the bottleneck, check what is equipped and choose a purchase that targets it. The beginner guide walks through that decision after a full return to base.

Trails and Zone Speed

Zone access should be checked against your Speed display. The current route starts at Forest with 5 Speed, then moves through progressively larger gates to Galaxy at 25B. The complete zone guide lists each threshold and its egg pool.

Do not turn this route into a guaranteed Trail-to-zone chart. Because actual Speed differs between players, a named Trail alone does not establish that you can enter a particular zone. Equip your Trail, use the game's training system and compare the resulting stat with the gate you want to reach.

For the scheduled New Biome, no Speed requirement has been announced. There is no specific Trail to recommend as its access key. Continue current progression and read the new area's announced requirements when available, rather than spending toward a guessed threshold.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What do Trails do?

Trails provide Speed multipliers for progression. They are separate from the Power stat provided by Pickaxes.

Do you need to equip a Trail?

Yes. Buying it is not enough; the Trail must be equipped for its listed multiplier to apply.

What is the first Trail?

White is the first listed Trail, with a 2x multiplier and a $500 reference cost.

What is the highest listed Trail multiplier?

Moonlight has the highest listed multiplier at 10Kx, with a reference cost of $100T.

Are Trails the same as Pickaxes?

No. Trails help Speed progression, while Pickaxe Power helps break eggs. Choose between them by the task slowing your run.

Which Trail do I need for Galaxy?

There is no guaranteed Trail choice from the table alone. Galaxy requires 25,000,000,000 actual Speed; access depends on your own Speed progression and equipped setup.

How many Trails are in the current list?

The current guide lists 11 Trails, from White through Moonlight, with their reference Cash costs and Speed multipliers.

Why is my Trail not changing Speed?

First check that the purchased Trail is equipped: ownership alone does not apply its multiplier. Use the actual Speed display to judge progression; this guide does not assume a hidden training formula.
