Break and Steal an Egg Zones
Use the table below to check your next Speed gate, egg pool and rarity. This current Break and Steal an Egg guide covers nine confirmed progression zones from Forest at 5 Speed through Galaxy at 25B Speed. Pickaxe Power is a separate stat and does not replace zone Speed.

How Zone Speed Requirements Work
Use this table to find your next zone, then check its eggs and rarity. This guide was updated October 8, 2026 using the current nine-zone progression reference. Full numbers make the differences between gates visible: Galaxy's 25B means 25,000,000,000 Speed, not a Cash price or a Pickaxe Power value.
The route runs Forest, Desert, Snowy, Candy, Swamp, Ocean, Hell, Blossom and Galaxy. A higher entry in the table gives you a progression target, but it does not tell you how comfortable the full run will be. You still need to break an egg, take its animal and return to base past the guards.
Speed is the stat to compare with the zone gate. Cash is what you earn from animals placed at your base and use for purchases; it is not the number in the Speed column. Pickaxe Power affects egg breaking. Even a strong tool does not substitute for the required Speed.
Trails belong to Speed progression and must be equipped to apply their multiplier. A particular Trail is not a guaranteed ticket to a particular zone, because players start from different actual Speed values. Check your own Speed after setting up equipment instead of deciding from the Trail name alone.
Once a zone is reachable, judge it through a complete run. Entry, egg breaking and the return to your base are separate parts of the loop. If only one part causes difficulty, an upgrade aimed at a different part may leave the problem unresolved.
Forest to Snowy — Early Progression
Forest
Forest is the first entry at 5 Speed. Its Rock Egg and Forest Egg sit in the Common rarity tier. Use this opening area to learn a full return: break an egg, take the hatched animal, get away from the guards and place it at your base. The point of an early run is to understand all of those actions, rather than only breaking the first egg. Check your current Speed against the next gate before moving on, and use what slowed the run to choose an upgrade.
Desert
Desert follows at 1,000 Speed, with Cactus Egg and Bones Egg in the Uncommon tier. This is your next reference after Forest, but the gate is a Speed target, not a recommendation to buy a particular Pickaxe. Before planning a Desert run, compare your actual stat with the table. Once entry is possible, look separately at how quickly you can break its eggs and how well you can bring an animal back. Those observations tell you more about the next useful purchase than the zone name does.
Snowy
Snowy requires 50,000 Speed and lists Frozen Egg and Yeti Egg at Rare rarity. It closes the early group in this guide. The increase from Desert is substantial, so read the complete number rather than confusing 50K Speed with an equipment cost. Being able to enter is the first check; breaking and returning remain important afterward. If progress slows here, separate the access question from the egg-breaking question before spending. The egg list explains what to look for once Snowy is within reach.
Candy to Ocean — Mid Progression
Candy
Candy is the 750,000 Speed gate and the Epic tier. Its pool contains Easter Bunny Egg, Candy Egg and Rainbow Egg. Three listed eggs give you names to compare with the current game, but no hatch odds follow from those names. When considering Candy, first confirm your Speed and then test whether your current Pickaxe handles the eggs comfortably. The shared word “Candy” also appears in the equipment list; that naming overlap does not establish a special unlock relationship between the tool and this zone.
Swamp
Swamp moves the reference to 12,000,000 Speed and Legendary rarity. Gooey Egg, Tree Egg and Lake Egg are its listed pool. Use the zone gate to judge access and the egg guide to identify the pool; neither table promises an animal's income. At this stage, it is useful to compare the problem you are trying to solve with your next upgrade. If you spend on Power when movement is limiting a run, the higher number on your Pickaxe will not address the Speed requirement.
Ocean
Ocean requires 150,000,000 Speed. Its Mythic pool contains Sea Stones Egg, Water Egg and Sea Egg. This is the last area in the middle group before Hell. Keep the three egg names distinct when reading lists, since the names refer to entries in the same zone rather than three separate Speed gates. A successful Ocean run still follows the familiar egg-to-base loop. Reaching a higher rarity changes your collection target, but the guide does not assign a hatch chance or Cash rate to that rarity.
Hell to Galaxy — Late Progression
Hell
Hell starts the late group at 1,000,000,000 Speed. Fallen Angel Egg, Angel Egg and Volcanic Egg belong to its Divine pool. The billion-scale gate is worth checking carefully before planning a purchase: 1B in the Speed column describes access, while similarly large numbers in a tool table describe Power or cost. These units cannot be exchanged. If you can reach Hell but spend too long breaking eggs, compare tools. If movement is the issue, review Speed progression and whether your Trail is equipped.
Blossom
Blossom follows Hell at 5,000,000,000 Speed, with Blossom Egg, Bamboo Egg and Fortune Egg in the Cosmic tier. This is the current step before Galaxy. The egg names identify the pool; “Fortune” does not establish a special payout or a guaranteed result. Keep your planning tied to the stated gate and your own run. You can use Blossom as a collection destination once reachable, while treating any claim about animal income, hidden rewards or hatch odds as a separate question that this table does not answer.
Galaxy
Galaxy is the highest zone in the current nine-area reference, at 25,000,000,000 Speed. Its Secret pool lists Sun Egg, Starry Egg and Blackhole Egg. That position is the end of the October 8 table, not a claim that every future update will extend the same sequence. The announced New Biome has no published gate or placement yet. For Galaxy itself, check actual Speed rather than a Trail label, and remember that reaching the zone does not remove the need to break an egg and return with its animal.
What to Upgrade When a Zone Feels Too Hard
Match the upgrade to the difficulty you can observe. If you cannot reach the zone or struggle with movement during the return, review Speed and Trails. If an egg takes too long to break after you arrive, review Pickaxe Power. If you want to take more animals per run, the official description identifies bigger satchels as the capacity upgrade.
You do not need a guessed guard statistic or a damage formula to make this distinction. Start with the next reachable zone, complete the loop and compare your next purchase with the part that held you back. For the announced October 11 area, wait for its actual access information rather than treating the next row as automatic.
